Step One: One example of when I had communication apprehension was at my dad’s funeral when I was asked to talk. After the main service, everybody got an opportunity to share any memory about him, everybody wanted me to share memory just because we were so close. Even though I had so many memories to share any good we're all good ones I still had major communication apprehension about talking is because it was very nerve-racking because there were so many people there. It took me a while to work up the nerve, but then I did share a memory I had of me and my dad. After I shared my memory my nerves calm down a lot and I realized it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
